SOCIAL GATHERINGS A reception was given this afternoon by Mrs. William Dudley Foulke and Miss Gwendolyn Foulke when they entertained in honor of Mrs. Cleveland K. Chase of Clinton, New York, a former resident of Richmond, at their home on South KiKhteenth street. Flowers and ferns were used in arr;h!inj; the room. Chrysanthemums also were used. Important among the social events for today is the large dinner party to be given this evening at. the Hotel Westeott for the members of the cast, and chorus of the amateur play '"Mr. Bob," which was presented early this fall at. the Gennett theatre under the auspices of the Knights of Columbus. Covers will he laid for fifty persons. After dinner the guests will be invited to attend the dance which will be given in the Knights of Columbus hall.
