Mrs. Charles Veregge of Hollansburg is spending v. few flays with Mrs. Samuel Addlemah. The revival meetings conducted by Rev. Richardson at the M. E. church, will continue throughout the week. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Holiday of Zanesville, O., stopped Here while on their way to Oklahoma and Kansas to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Li. D. Fisher. Prof, and Mrs. George W. Schell visited the schools at Williamsburg and ountain City Friday. Mr. and Mr. Harry Chenoweth and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wiley and family - Glen Karn, O., were here Sunday. O. M. Jennings is sick. John Coppock moved Into the Jones property Saturday. Miss Mabel Sourbeer gave a linen shower Saturday afternoon for Miss Mary White. Mrs. Bert White and little son returned home from Richmond Sunday after a brief visit with her mother, Mrs. Dunn. The young ladies' class of the Christian Sunday school will give an oyster supper at the church Saturday, evening, November 22. Mr. and Mrs. Grover White and family of Bethel were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wallace and family Sunday. Miss Nellie Coppock of Glen Karn was here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pyle were entertained Sunday by Mrs. P. A. Pyle at Albany, Ind. Rev. Owen Livingood of Winchester will begin a series of revival meetings at the Christian church Tuesday, November 25. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Colvin and family visited relatives at Arba Monday.

Allen, James A. Blossom, Minnie M. Blossom, Flora Kizer, Laura M. Templin, Berdie Templin, J. P. Teegarden, Harry C. Teegarden, - Walter L. Skinner, D. S. Wiggins, Anna L. Wiggins, O. B. Courtright, Kate Vardaman and all others concerned: You are hereby notified that I and others, have filed in the office of the Clerk of the Wayne Circuit Court a petition for drainage of certain real estate in Wayne and Randolph Counties, Indiana, and particularly described in said petition. "It is believed the proposed drainage can be accomplished in the best and cheapest manner by dredging, widening and deepening Nettle Creek, beginning at a point where said Creek is crossed by the right-of-way of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad Company, of Indiana, in said Section fifteen (15), Township eighteen (18), Range twelve (12) east, in Randolph County, Indiana, and thence southwardly with the general course and direction of said Nettle Creek to tue place in Section 9 (9), Township seventeen (17), Range twelve (12), east, where said Creek crosses the highway, running east and west, through the northeast quarter of Section 9; and also by constructing and digging said drain northwardly from the north end of said part to be dredged as above described, to the north line of said Section 15, and thence northwardly and northwesterly across the southwest quarter of Section 10, Township 18, Range 12 ast, the part of such drain north of the right-of-way of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad Company to be an opea drain at the south part and tile drain at the north part; and also by an extension or additional ditch to be made the same connecting and joining the said main proposed ditch and beginning on the lands of Winfield Hutchens and extending in a westerly and northwesterly direction through the lands of the said Winfield and Lillie Hutchens, ana the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway Company and through the lands belonging to residents of the corporation of Losantvllle with laterals along the streets and alleys of the said corporation of Losantvllle for the drainage of the said Town and corporation and also for the purpose of the drainage of the school property located within the corporate limits of the said Town of Losantville. The exact starting point and course and terminus of said ditch or drain and the width and depth of the dredged and open portions thereof, and the size of the tile, and the part to be tiled north of said right-of-way and the Chesapeake and Ohio " Railroad Company, of Indiana, to be left open to be determined by the commissioners to whom the matter of said drainage is referred.
