Speed Marks Basketball Games in "Y" Bible Class League.

Delphian Seconds Lose in Final Minutes of Fast Play.

Two fast basketball games were played at th Y court last; -evening between four scjuads of the JBible Class aeries. The first game between the Iroquois Seconds and Sparta as ended 20 to 8 in favor of the forme. Watt, forward of the Seconds team played the fitarr game of his squad arid-made most of the points for the Iroquois quintet. Guard Clark, ol" the Spartans, also did effective work. The second contest was a hot affair and the Blackhawk Seconds five nosed out four points ahead of the Delphian Seconds after the two squads had been tied until the final moments of play. Forward Miller and Guard Grimes did effective playing for the Blackhawk quintet. Guard Lyons and forward Lanning, both of the Delphians played a pood game. The following is the standing of the Y. A large number of rooters are expected to accompany the Winchester high school team to this city Friday

evening when the Richmond high school basketball five enters the gymnasium for its first game of the season. Winchester has already beaten Union City by a 28 to 5 score and has strong hopes of annexing another victory tomorrow evening. The Winchester team has one more game away from home before it opens the season at Winchester on the evening of November 21 with the Richmond team as the attraction.

PLAT OPEN FRIDAY FOR BIG ORCHESTRA

The plat for the Russian Symphony Orchestra will be open Friday morning at 9 oclock at the Starr Piano Store. Great interest is being shown in the appearance of this famous orchestral organization on Sunday afternoon at the Coliseum, especially as the program has been arranged to suit all tastes.
