The two' literary societies of Earlham College installed officers for the term at their regular meetings Friday evening. Ionian, the society for the boys, inetalled the following ofiiceds: President, T. Ernest Kaiford; vice president, Harry S. Miller; recording secretary, Cecil R. Trixiblood; critic, Moses Bailey : vice critic, Everett
Davie; marshal, Joe Roberts; committee, Lester Taggart, Pollock and Howard Cary. Short talks were given by literary Chelsea most of the new officers and Mr. Vinson Nicholson, a former Earlhamite and exmember of the .society, save a talk to the society. The following officers were installed by Phoenix Literary society: President, Sylvia Modisett; vice president, Florence I loan; recording secretary, Hazel Early; corresponding secretary, Ora Jones; critic, Alice Mary Doan; vice critic.
