UNABLE TO OBTAIN VERY HEAVY LINE Coa?h Reagan Says He Has About Thirty-five Candidates for Places.

Initial football practice of the seaeon was held yesterday afternoon at Reid field. Only a light work-out was given the eleven by Coach Reagon, who hopes to give some of the youngsters a fair grounding in the funda

mentals or the game Derore tamng up scrimmage. The work yesterday consisted in punting, passing the ball and some real sharfc work in starting and sprintlug. Five pld men were out for practloe, and all seemed to be in the best of condition. Those who won letters last year and who appeared in suits yesterday were Captain Bogue, Williams, Stanley, Thlstlethvaite and Semler. Lamb, who playod at guard last year, was not on the field, but is expected to report soon. Considerable uneasiness is felt by Coach Reagan over the dearth, of good line material. Most of the new men are very light. The line may not average over 160 pounds. The unexpected return to college of Tfristlethwaite, w'th Semler, Lamb and Stanley will leave three vacancies in the line for which men must, be found. Thirty men were out for practice yesterday, and Coach Reagan expects at least fifteen more to rsport for .work tfcis afternoon. Among the new Tnen who showed up well in yesterday's practice are Woodgato, Bowen, Miller, Thornton and Leonard. STRENGTHEN WEAK KIDNEYS. Don't suffer longer with weak kidneys. Like the days of the Spanish inquisi-

tion when unknown judges dealt out ! justice without coming into personal contact with the persons most interested, it has been arranged by the committee in charge of the Domestic ! Science exhibit that the judges who shall award the prizes shall be protectjed from the exhibitors by withholding I their names from publication. : "We want to give every one a perfectly fair deal," said Mrs. Frank Land,

chairman of the committee in charge. "We think it will be more satisfactory if the names of the judges are not announced until after the prizes have been awarded." The judges of the Domestic Science exhibit will be out-of-town women. Their names will be announced tomorrow, after they have passed upon the exhibits.

OF CHANCE GAMES Commercial Club Declares Roulette Wheels Cannot Be Operated.

Strict regulation will be given to the various games of chance that will be operated on the streets during the Fall Festival! With the exception of throwing for cigars and ringing the canes every person who purchases a chance on any kind of a game must receive something of value in return. It is understood by the Commercial club, which has investigated the matter that these sanies may be run providing that each person who takes a chance receives something of value. In the case of the throwing for cigars

or canes, the pleasure- seeker purchases balls or rlnjrs to be used in a test of skill and Is not entitled by law to any other return for his money, the members say. Roulette wheels, however, cannot be run. unless each man as he lays down his money is assured of some certain return. Rules against the throwing of confetti will be rigidly enforced and the first violator of this rule will be arrest ed.

Try This Remedy at Our Risk. People sometimes say, "Well, that new remedy of yours, Saxo Salve, may cure recent cases of eczema, but I doubt if it will help me for I have had eczema a long time." The fact is, Saxo Salve was devised as much for chronic skin troubles as for acute cases, and it is equally effective, though usually the chronic cases are more stubborn. Numbers of cases right around here could be cited, showing that Saxo Salve is exactly the remarkable soothing and curative remedy for skin diseases that we claim. The itching is stopped in a few moments after the first application, and improvement is seen in a few days. All humors and disorders of the skin, whether scaly, crusted or in the first stages, usually yield to Saxo Salve promptly. If it does not, in

your case, your money will be returned. Leo H. Fihe, Druggist, Richmond. P. S. We guarantee Vinol to purify and enrich the bipod. ( Advertisement!
