THIEF STEALS PONY I AND ELODES ARREST
CEXTERVILLE, Sept. 30 A pony and rig belonging to Howard Gamber, of Greensfork, were stolen from a hitch rack here last evening at 7:30 o'clock by an unknown stranger who made good his escape. The theft was one of the boldest attempted in Centerville for many years. The horse ! and rig are valued at $100. j Gambr r had hitched the animal to ; tha rack at Dunbar's corner, the bus-! iest section of the town. He stepped , into Dr. Pouts' office to get medical , attention for an injury which he sus-i
tained some time ago, and returning fiftf-en minutes later was unable to find the animal. Witnessed Theft. Ora Medearis saw a man step into the vehicle, after untieing the horse, ami leave Centerville by way of the Williamsburg pike. He described the
person he saw who had been in Centerville with another persons, who is also unknown. - It is believed he met his confederate outside the corporation and the two will attempt to dispose of the animal. The suspect is described as being a short, middle aged man, wearing tan shoes, a black cap, overalls and spectacles. Not the slightest clue of the thieves could be found after they left town. Inquiries were made at farm houses along the Williamsburg pike, but no one reported having seen anything answering the description of the men or the missing horse and vehicle. Gamber, after a fruitless search, notified the Richmond police. A lookout will be kept In all parts of Wayne and adjoining counties. It is believed the men will be caught if they attempt to dispose of the stolen property. Local officials believe the men have abandoned the rig on a lonely highway.

At Cooper's Grocery,
Agent Greenburg Shows Faith In One Rheumatic Remedy After Six Years' Suffering. "3839 Cottage Grove Ave., Chicago, 111., March 17, 1913. For six years, on and off, juBt as the weather would change, I have suffered agony from Rheumatism, the pains in my big toe, left foot, knees hips and groins being almost unbearable. At such times I hardly dared take a step for fear of another attack. I spent many dollars and became thoroughly disgusted with so-called Rheumatic remedies, until I tried RHEUMA. I was buying some liniment when your Peoria, 111., agents recommended your remedy. I have since asked physicians to prescribe RHEUMA for Rheumatism. The train crews on the Rock Island Railroad, who saw me "limping along using a cane, will verify my statements. Yours most sincerely," J. K. Greenburg, News Agent, Rock Island Railroad. Anybody can afford to pay 50 cents to get rid "of terrible Rheumatism, Sciatica, Gout, Lumbago, and that's all RHEUMA costs at Leo H. Fihe's, and he says if it does not do all that is claimed for it, money back. RHEUMA costs very little, but it is one of the best remedies you can find to drive Rheumatic poisons from the system and bring back perfect health. (Advertisement)

Big events come they are enjoyed and forgotten such will be the case of the RICHMOND FALL FESTIVAL, OCT. 1 , 2 and 3 of this year. Business houses, as well as cities, have events that come and their events always come to stay especially such has been the case with the Richmond Baking Co. One day some years ago occurred the big event in cracker making. It was the introduction of "The Cracker With a Taste" Betttteraiiiitt Wallers and today thousands of people in the best towns of many states are enjoying the sweet flavor of Butter-Nut Wafers perhaps you might have the opportunity of tasting them while' attending the Fall Festival. The introduction of the World s Best Cracker was not the only big event that occurred with the Richmond Baking Co.
THE ELK a little larger cracker than the butternut, is another one of our products. The Elk cracker is fast becoming the children's delight. Just the right amount of seasoning, crisp and can always be had fresh. Get them at your grocers. Our other and perhaps greater events come when we introduced for the first time in this city and vicinity "Bread made with milk" it was

In passing we might say that such days as the introduction of the "Butternut Wafers" and "Golden Cream Bread" can be termed as "Eventful Days" that will never be forgotten.
