COY WANTS BOUT HERE JOT MONTH Columbus Feather Weight Says He Would Like to Meet Jerry Palston.
SETS WORLD'S RECORD Peter Volo, a Two-Year-Old, Goes Mile in 2:081-4.
The sporting editor of the Palladium Is in receipt of a letter from R. O. McLaughlin, Columbus, O., asking for assistance in matching Dick Coy with some fast featherweight for a go in this city. Coy fights at 122 pounds and has met some of the best men in the country, including Willie Buyers, Frankie Cooke, Sammy Trott and Battling Hurley. The Ohio State Journal refers to Coy as being as clever as an Abe Attell and as rough as a bear. He boxes Joe Thomas in Columbus, September .u. McLaughlin would like to match Coy for a ten round bout in Richmond with Jerry Dalton, of Indianapolis, some time next month.

ASK OTHER CITIES TO ENTER MEET A triangular indoor field meet among teams representing the Richmond Y. M. C. A. and association teams from other cities, is being contemplated by Director Pearse. Although the plans are not far advanced it is probable that associations from two or three other cities of about the same siae as Richmond will be asked to enter teams. Should the idea be carried out. it will mean that the members of the Y. M. C. A. teams will participate in three meets this winter, one in each of the cities represented.

Pity the Unpainted House! Would you go out in the pouring rain wearing your best clothes if you had no protection such as an umbrella or raincoat? Not if you could help it, you say. Yet some people expose expensive material to the elements without adequate protection. The building material in your house is expensive and should be protected. Otherwise it will be ruined as surely as the fine clothes you wouldn't wish to wear out in the rain. Dampness causes decay in wood-work. It you keep out the dampness you keep away decay.
