GRADER MUCH NEEDED
That Jequate equipment is not provided for working the roads of SVayne county is the complaint made by J. J. Mikesell, supervisor in district No. 1, of Greene township. Mr. Mikesell states that for his district tie has the following tools: one pick Ind two shovels. He charges that the county officers refuse to make appropriations for imMements with which to work the roads. Without something with fc'hich to work, he says, laborers can lot do good work on the roads. Mr. Mikesell's district, he says, has iong needed a grader, which is practically essential to keep up the roads. The only grader to wnich he has tccess is the property of the county, ind is in bad repair.
ABUSED JjYJUSBAND And Christie Groff Files Suit for Diovrce.
Christie Groff is tired of being abused by her husband, William Groff, she says, and filed suit for a divorce in the Wayne circuit court today. The plaintiff and the defendant separated August 4, 1913, after having lived together for several years all of which time the plaintiff says she was compelled to work as a washerwoman in order to procure funds with which she could support herself and children.
