MOISTS CARELESS Complaints Made to Headquarters. Police Complaints have been coming into police headquarters regularly during the last two weeks against automobilists who cut corners and. shoot around them at a high rate of speed without blowing the horns. Chief Gormon will again instruct his men to start a war against autoists who have no regard for the safety of the public. Although for a short time, there was less cutting ot, corners and violation of traffic rules, the auto drivers are becoming more carelesB, police say. Th Psychological Miwent. Frances is only a little jUtl. but she has a quick mind and the gift of language that sometimes distinguishes children who associate much with their elders. The other day Frances came home to her mother with cheeks like roses and eyes like stars. "Oh, mamma," she exclslmed, happily. "I've had the best luck this morning! 1 got downtown jui?T at the psychological moment !" "Did you, dear?" was mother's plea ! ed inquiry. "And what happened?" Said Frances solemnly: "I saw a parade." Chicago Record-Herald. His Cleverness. "Don't be so lazy. There's plenty of room at the top, and you're clever enough to get there." "But," replied the lary genius, "think how clever it is of me to find a place at the bottom, where there isn't so much room." NOTICE TO BIDDERS SCHOOL SUPPLIES.
