NEW VOTING SYSTEM May Be Installed in the House Soon. (National News Association) WASHINGTON, July 23. The house rules committee today began an Investigation of the feasibility of installing an electrical voting system in the house to avoid the long delays consequent upon the calling of the roll by the Reading Clerk. Each time the clerk calls the roll the house loses nearly an hour and members resort to roll calls to filibuster against bills. Representative Walsh, of New Jersey, appeared before the committv; to explain an electric system of voting he has proposed. A committee probably will be appointed to make a report upon the scheme. SENATOR WILL NOT SUPPORT THE BILL (National News Association) WASHINGTON, July 23. The horse, which was standing in front of the store, started to the barn in the alley at the rear. Turning the corner into the alley, the umbrella on the wagon fell on the horses back, frightening it.
