MILTON, Ind., June 16. Miss Laura Rothermel visited relatives at Connersville over Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kerber have as their guests their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kerber and family, of j Hamilton, Ohio. j Injured His Wrist. Noble Griffith is at home disabled because of a bad hand. He was assisting in getting . some casting on a wagon at Bertsch's where he is employed when it slipped and caught his wrist, making a wound to the bone. The W. F. M. S. held its regular meeting with Mrs. V. L. Parkins Friday afternoon. Avery entertaining program was observed. Winston Barry, of Lima, Ohio, is visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Kimmel, and will remain all the summer. C. W. B. M. Meeting. The C. V. B. M. of the Christian church held an open meeting Friday afternoon with Mrs. Benton Wagner. Their guests were the ladies of the Christian church at New Lisbon. There were twenty-one from that place present. The program of the meeting was good, prominent features being a solo by Miss Mary Jones, a paper, "The Needs of Mexico, by Mrs. F. C. McCormick. There were about fiftysix ladies in attendance. Misses Mildred Case and Ida Fortman and Master Virgil Moony were at Connersville Saturday. The Eastern Star will meet Wednes-1 day evening. W.-E. Booth and daughter, Miss Issabelle, were at Cambridge City Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nugent entertained as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gibbs, of Richmond. Frank Leibhardt, of Richmond, spent over Sunday with his brother, George Leibhardt. Clarence Heiney was home to spend Sunday with his mother, Mrs. G. A. Borders. Her niece, Mrs. Montana and sons, Heancy and Derrel, of Indianapolis, also spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Borders. Mrs. Emily Williams was the recipient of a boquet of poppies from Mrs. H. H. Heist. The bunch contained 155 blossoms. Miss Esther Basson, of Richmond, was home to spend over Sunday with her parente, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Basson. Jacob Murley has been suffering from a severe attack of asthma. Mr. and Mrs. George Kelsey called on Mrs. E. B. Neirjrtan and family Saturday afternoon." Samuel Turner's son is here to visit him. He is still quite sick. Mr. and Mrs. John Faucett had as their guest Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dickson and Mr. and Mrs. Shuler of Brookville. Mrs. F. C. McCormick entertained the ladies from New Lisbon who came to attend the C. W. B. M. Friday af-1 ternoon, at luncheon that evening. Linville Wallace was at Connersville Saturday to visit Mrs. Anna Wallace. Miss Knapp of Bentonville was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Bryant and Miss Magie Vanatti, Saturday. Mr. Skillman has the measles. Miss Bertha Bridgett of Cambridge "City, visited him and his sister over Friday night. The Misses Metta Hicks and Mae Keever were at Losantville over Sun. day as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Medsker. Mrs. Emily Williams received an interesting letter from Mrs. C. H. Pinnick of Hartsville. She is much improved from her late illness. T. J. Connell was at Richmond on business Friday. Mrs. O.
