A dry cleaner that knows how to dean clothes, knows that the customer wants the clothes clean. .It does not make any difference how many processes they go through. MAYOR WOULD HAVE FIHEDJOOSEVELT Maintains That One Drink Is Sufficient to Bring About Conviction.
The question, "How much does it take to get drunk," again came up in police court this morning when LeRoy Wright, colored, was fined $1 and costs for taking one drink of whisky. White was arrested at the carnival grounds Saturday night by special officers for disorderly conduct but aa he was found not guilty of that charge he was charged with public intoxication. Wright was strolling around the carnival grounds Saturday night at 10:30 when the engineer of the merry-go-around stopped him and drew a revolj ver. Wright was then arrested and j charged with having annoyed the car nival men by stealing rides on the merry-go-around and creating a disturbance in the vicinity of it. Witnesses proved that he had not taken part in any disturbance. "If I were trying Theodore Roosevelt," said the mayor," and I found that he had taken one drink, he would be guilty of public intoxication." "How much does it take to get drunk?" he asked a colored boy. "Right smart," said the boy but upon being asked to state definitely he said that the mayor of a city ought to know. Mayor Zimmerman's ruling for years has been that one drink of Intoxicating liquor causes a man to be intoxicated according to Indiana state laws.
