MOTOR 35 horsepower, four cylinders, cast en bloc, from the best gray Iron. Cylinders, 4-inch bore by 5-inch stroke. The inlet and exhaust manifolds and water intake are cast with the cylinders, giving a very simple, clean and accessible design. Valves enclosed. Pump and magneto set on cross shaft, directly in front of cylinders, which runs silently from the camshaft gear. Latest type switch on dash.. , ELECTRIC SELF-CRANKING Designed by the well known Wagner Electric Manufacturing Company, whose reputation is lwortd-wide. The generator is located on the front right side of the motor, and acts on the crank shaft, through a silent chain drive.

It is capable of spinning the motor at 80 R. P. M. for 31 minutes. A storage battery of twelve volts 4s charged continuously from this generator. The generator is automatic in action and fool-proof. To start the car the driver simply pulls a handle on the steering column, and the generator rotates the motor until the gas is sucked through the carburetor into the cylinders, and the motor commences to run in the ordinary manner. When the handle is released the current is automatically switched to the storage battery which, however, is so controlled, without any cut-off-valve, that it cannot become overcharged. We believe this starter brings motor starting to a point completely satisfactory. CLUTCH Leather faced; external cone. Operating on the flywheel. A series of flat springs cause the clutch to engage very easily. TRANSMISSION Selective type; three speeds forward, one reverse. Located directly forward , of the rear axle. Chrome nickel steel gears. Transmission case cover easily removable to allow for inspection. REAR AXLE Full floating type. Axle shafts chrome vanadium steel. The wheels turn on ball bearings, mounted on the outer ends of the axle housing. Axle housing of pressed steel. Drive gears and differential easily Inspected through large hand plate in rear of axle. TIRES 34x4-inch; Goodrich quick detachable on demountable rims.
