Mr. and Mrs. Ellis, Mrs. Samuel W. Traum, Miss Edna Smith of Richmond, and Miss Hazel Lewis of Cincinnati, attended the Bible school institute here- Sunday. Miss Lewis and Mrs. Ellis were on the program. Miss Anna Boyer has been the guest of friends in Richmond. Miss Madge Mlesse, of Greenville, and Miss Harriet Schantz of Dayton, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ault. The regular monthly meeting of the library board was held Monday evening In the office of W. H. Doney. Carl H. Milan, secretary and state organizer of the library commission met wit hthem and discussed the plans as to the room, equipment, furniture, arrangement and cost. The manner of securing the books was an important matter of discussion. The work Is progressing nicely. Miss Alice Medearls of Centerville, is the guest of Mrs. May Boden. Mrs. Roy Schepman and little son have gone to Olney, 111., to spend a month with her mother, Mrs. Emma Roberts. , Santford Jacobs has returned from Hartford City. Buckskin Ben will open the season with his wild west show here tomorrow. Mrs. R. A. Hicks and Mrs. W. B. Woodard were In Indianapolis last week, the guest of Fred Huddleston. The Helen Hunt Club met Monday afternoon with Miss Catherine Callooway. A business seslon preceded the program. Mrs. Charles Myers spent Sunday with Mrs. Nora Campbell at Milton. The members of the Friday Club will picnic at Jackson park Thursday. This wlil be the closing meeting of the year. Mrs. P. H-. Zehring and Mrs. C. M. Bailey were in Richmond Monday. Mrs. Walter Smith and Mrs. Vera Mackey of Louisville, Ky., are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Hastings. Joseph Daly died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Mauk, after an illness of several weeks. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church in East Germantown. Rev. William Hollopeter, of this city, will officiate. The body of Mrs. Grace Allen, who died Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, at GreenHeld, was brought to East Germantown yesterday for burial.

The body of the late William Thornburg, of Richmond, was brought here today and buried in Westlawn cemetery. Miss Gladys Miller and Miss Vera Smith are the leaders for the Christian Endeavor services Sunday evening. Miss Grace Kirby was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Abel at Alexandria, Sunday. Miss Kirby is now at Muncie where she has entered normal school, preparatory to teaching this winter. Mrs. Sam Cluggish of New Castle, spent Sunday with Henry Benson and family. Mrs. Sara Kinsey and Mr. Chas. Kinsey entertained Sunday at dinner Mr. and Mrs. John , Replogle, Mrs. Sara Pipher, Mrs. Mahala Huffman and Mr. Louis Petty. The Christian Aid society will meet with Mrs. J. M. Hartley Tuesday of next week. The Anti Can't Sunday school class will be entertained Friday night at the home of Miss Laura Mason.
