GROWERS MAY JOIN COMMERCIAL BODY
At a meeting of the Retail Grocers' association held last evening at the Commercial club a proposition was taken up by the officials of both organizations whereby the grocers of this city may become a department of the club. This department will be affiliated with the Commercial club in all its undertakings though it may hold its meetings separate as does the Merchants' section of the club. Lee B. Nusbaum of the merchants' department of the club spoke to the grocers. He urged that the men accept the offer of the cub to join and become a part of the organization. The Retail Grocers association is an organization formulated among the grocers of this city for the purpose of securing laws enacted for their protection. A rating system was proposed at the meeting and if the members of the organization accept the offer of the Commercial club to merge with the club the rating book of the Commercial club will be accepted by the grocers.

SAVAGE WAS GIVEN A $2,000 VERDICT
If the decision of the jury in the case of Earl Savage against Dr. Richard Schiiringer and Dr. Charles Marvel is sustained the plaintiff will receive $2,000 from the defendants for alleged malpractice. The case went to the jury last evening at 6:30 o'clock and a verdict was not reached until 9 o'clock this morning after deliberating all night. Dr. Marvel stated today that a new trial would be asked, and if not granted, the case would be appealed to the supreme court. Judge Fox will be appealed to within a few days to grant a new trial on the ground that the verdict is not sustained by the evidence, and is contrary to law. Attorney Bond made the closing argument for the plaintiff. Mr. Bond upbraided the members of the medical profession who testified, and branded the Wayne County Medical Society as the "medical trust." He alleged that his political career had been threatened by physicians for his -position in the case, in appearing for the plaintiff. It was alleged by the plaintiff that at the time his fractured limb was being treated by the defendants, they failed to keep it in a state of immobilization while the bones were uniting by making applications of weights. The "T" splint was not placed on the plaintiff's limb until ten days after the injury was sustained, according to h!s testimony. The defendants contended that this was not the case, as the splint was placed on his leg three days after the limb was treated. The evidence that at least one of the defendants is insured by liability insurance in a case of this kind was ruled out of court. It is contended by the physicians that Savage's limb was broken again after he left the hospital. The testimony of the defendants that Savage was properly treated was corroborated by the evidence of nearjy all the physicians who testified. The case was started April 22, and in accordance with the 1913 statutes the jurymen will receive $2.50 for their services of yesterday and today. The law raises the amount of money jurymen receive from $2 to $2.50 per day. The law did not go into effect until yesterday.

BTH STREET CABS RE-ROUTED TODAY Action of Company in Order Not to Interfere. With Paving.
North Eighth street cars have been re-routed by Superintendent Gordon of the T. H. I. & E. traction company in order that the work of bricking North Eighth street may not be interfered with. The cars will run on South Eighth street as usual but after reaching Main street will make a loop around North Fifth street to D street and from there on Fort Wayne avenue to North E street and east. The traction company will start the work of removing the tracks on North
Eighth street Monday. Heavier tracks will be placed on the street. Adeep bed of concrete will be placed under the tracks. The change of the route may hold for several weeks. Construction agents of the traction company were in the city today but could give no information as to the removal of the tracks in Glen Miller park. It is generally understood by city officials that the tracks will be removed soon but B. A. Kennepohl. president of the board of works, asked that a definite time be given. The agents stated that another switch will be placed in Twentieth street at once but before that time, no action will be taken towards removing the tracks. The men claim that, with the present arrangement, cars can enter the city through Twentieth street but must leave through the park or Main street.

FOURTH DAY
Great Results Being Accomplished by New Remedy "Nervona." Numerous callers at the Fosler Drug Co., Main street, were greatly interested in the talk given by the special representative introducing the new remedy "Nervona,"' which is being introduced in this community for the Cist time. Wherever "Nervona has been introduced it has met with unpredicted success thereby proving to the public who are the judges in these cases, that it is a remedy of unusual merit. Its effect is almost magical inasmuch that those using, commence feeling teneficial results from almost the first dose, this is very encouraging to those who are despondent and have given up all hope of ever being any better. One of the lady callers, said jesterday that since taking our remedy she feels ten years younger and went r.bout her work at home singing and with hope in her heart. Call and interview the special representative at the Fosler Drug Co., Main street, from 9 a. m. to S p. m. daily, and he will frankly tell you whether in his opinion this remedy Will benefit your case. If you are bothered with backache or rheumatism, have disagreeable, annoying bladder or urinary disorders to contend with or suffer with any other of the many miseries that come from weak kidneys, here is a guaranteed remedy you can depend upon, no matter what else may have failed to cure you. It is a positive fact that the new discovery, Croxone, promptly overcomes such diseases. It is the most wonderful remedy ever made for ridding the system of uric acid, removing the cause and curing the troubles. It soaks right in and cleans out the stopped up kidneys and makes them filter and sift out all the poisonous waste matter frbm the blood. It neutralizes and dissolves the uric
acid that lodges in the joints and muscles, causing rheumatism; soothes and heal the- delicate linings of the bladder; and put the kidneys and urinary organs in a clean, strong, healthy condition. More than a few doses of Croxone are seldom required to relieve even
the obstinate long standing cases,
while it cures the most severe forms of kidney, bladder trouble, and rheumatism in a surprisingly short time. You will find Croxone entirely different from all other remedies. There is nothing else on earth like It. It is so prepared that it is practically impossible to take it into the human system without results. An original package costs but a trifle at any first class drug store. All druggists are authorized to personally return the purchase price if Croxone fails to give the desired results the very first time you use it.
