Miss Lea Dumas writes t from Malone, N. Y., saying: "I was in a badly run-down ,. condition for', several weeks but two bottles of Vinol put me 'on my feet again and made me strong and ' well. "Vlnol has done me more good than all the , other medicine I ever took. . If the ' careworn, run-down women, the paler sickly children " and feeble old folks around "here would, follow ; Miss Dumas' example, they, too, ' would soon be able to say that Vinol, our delicious cod liver and iron " remedy, had built them up and made ; them strong. : It is a wonderful, strength creator and body-builder, and we sell it under a guarantee of satisfaction. You get your ' money, back if Vinol does not help you. Leo H. Fine, Druggist, Richmond, Ind. P. S. For any skin trouble try our Saxo Salve. We guarantee it. (Advertisement)

ANCIENTS KNEW OF OUR "DISCOVERIES"

(National News Association)

CHICAGO, April 25. Members of

the medical profession in Chicago, today heard that all the supposed new ideas in medicine and' surgery were known to doctors thousands of years ago. James J. Walsh, dean of Fordham college, New York City, made the statement . in an address to the Chicago medical society. "The outdoor cure for tuberculosis, he said,-was recommended by Galen, a Greek physician, over 1,000 years ago. In the middle - ages surgeons operated on the skull for . fractures and performed operations nearly identical with the modern operation for appendicitis."

SUBMITS INFORMATION - ' ON THE DUST PROBLEM.

The department of Highways of the State of New York submitted the Information to the Palladium relative to the queries as to what kind of oil should be used in the oiling of the streets of this city. There are various oils and other patented materials on the market which are claimed to be dust layers. In this etete we have used various kinds of materials for this purpose with more or less practical results. About the cheapest we have used is Calcium Chloride which has given fairly sufficient results where the dust has not been too deep but three or four applications for the season will probably be eu?ugh. This has also been used in several villages and cities in New Jersey. We have also used various asphaltic oils with moreyor less success. Various villages throughout the state have used a light application of what is known as 40 per cent Standard Asphaltic Oil which is applied directly to the road andit is of a thin enough nature so as not to need any covering material. We have also used heavier asphaltic oils for sweeping the road, then apply-

BREATHE HYOMEI FOR CATARRH Health Comes From Knowing How and What to Breathe. Hardly a day passes without confirmation of the old adage, "Man's Life Is but a breath of air." Dust laden with disease breeding germs is inhaled by all who. use the streets, but disease is not developed unless the germs find conditions suitable for their lodgment and growth. ' With people having catarrh there is an Ideal culture medium for these germs. The irritated membrane and weakened tissues is a hot-bed where germs thrive and multiply. If you have catarrh or any trouble of the breathing organs' causing stoppedup head, sniffles or morning choking, you should use the easiest, simplest and quickest remedy, the direct method of HyomeL This wonderful medication is taken in with the air you breathe, directly following and destroying all germs that have been inhaled, repairing any damage they may have worked and so healing and vitalizing the tissues as to render catarrh .and germ infection no leaser possible. The unusual way in wfttch druggists sell Hyomei should dispel all doubt as to its curative properties. Leo H. FIhe offers to refund the price to anyone whom it fails to benefit. You do not risk a cent in testing the healing virtues of this breath of life. Complete Outfit $1.00. Extra bottles of Hyomei liquid if later needed 50 cents (Advertisement)
