NOTICE. Office of the Board of School Trustees of the School City of Richmond, Ind.: NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF BIDS. Notice to contractors is hereby given that on and until 12 o'clock noon of Tuesday, May 6th, 1913, sealed bids will be received by the Hoard of School Trustees of the School City of Richmond, Indiana, at the Board's office, 8th and North B streets, in said City of Richmond for: (1) One School Building for said school city, same to be built upon the real-estate owned by said corporation on Southwest Second Street, between South D and South E Streets. (2.) For the furnishing and installation of the plumbing system, , and a mechanical furnace heating and ventilating system . for the above building. The bids for the respective items (li and (2) shall be separate and distinct. The each bidder shall file with his EACH bid his certified check payable to the above named Board In the sum of at least Five Hundred Dollars, the same as a guarantee that If successful the such bidder shall engage in contract accordingly and in compliance with the terms and specifications for the respective items. The successful bidder will be required to enter into his contract In writing for the such work as by him undertaken,, the same contract to be In form of "Uniform Form" of contract usually used by builders, with the added requirements that the contractor shall be required to make full payment for all materials and labor used on his contract else the amounts necessary therefor shall be retained by the Board. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond in the sum of fifty per cent of his contract, the same with approved surety company surety, fully conditioned -upon faithful and complete compliance with the terms of the contract, and plans and specifications for the work undertaken. The plans and specifications are on file In the office of Architects, W. S. Kaufman and Son, Kelly-Hutchinson Block, Richmond, Indiana, open to the Inspection of all persons concerned. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The time of full completion of each contract shall be not later than September 15th. 1913.
