TWO 80NNETS. XVIII Shall I compare thee to a lummer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough wlndes do shake the darling buds of May, And nmmer'8 lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimm'd; And every fair from fair sometime declines. By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd; But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor loose possession of that fair thou ow'st; Nor shall Death brag thou wandr'et in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st: So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. William Shakespeare. CVI When in the chronicle of wasted time I see descriptions of t.he fairest wights. And beauty making beautiful old rime, In praise of ladies dead, and lovely, knights; Then, in the blazon of sweet beauty's best, Of hand, of foot, of lip, of eye, of brow, I see their antique pen would have express'd Even such a beauty as you master now. So all ther praises are but prophecies Of this our time, all you prefiguring; And, for they look'd but with divining eyes, They had not skill enough your worth to sing: For we, which now behold these present days, Have eyes to wonder, but lack tongues to praise. William Shakespeare. BRIDGE PARTY. Despite the downpour of rain today the bridge party given this afternoon by Mrs. W. O. Crawford and Mrs. H. L. Ashley proved to be a most charming social event. Ordinary mercolised wax is far better: it literally peels off the freckles. Get an ounce of it at the nearest drug store and tonight spread enough to completely cover your face; remove in the morning with warm water. Repeat daily until every freckle has disappeared. Rough, blotchy, pimpled skin, also common at this season, may be entirely gotten rid of by this same method, without discomfort or inconvenience. The effort is decidedly worth while, the new complexion obtained being so clear, smooth and youthful. If bothered with wrinkles, after washing oft the mercolized wax bathe the face in a lotion made by dissolving an ounce of powdered saxolite in a half pint of witch hazel. This is the most effectiTe and quickest-acting wrinkle treatment known. (JL4yrtfMnt)

Then began using the larger size bottles and after taking three bottles I was cured. That has been seven years ago this summer and I have never been elck since that time from this disease. I can cheerfully recommend Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root to any one for kidney and bladder troubles hoping it may do as much good for many people as it did for me. Yours truly. PLENTY TO KNOW. Some authorities are making the strange assertion that the field of science has now been pretty well explored, that the greater part of all possible research work has been performed and that it remains for physicists only to clear up the little left by various careless scientists. This would be a comfortable conclusion. But no doubt the same conclusion hag been accepted by every age that has preceded our own. The people of a hundred years from now wfll laugh at this conclusion, just as we laugh at the same conclusion made one hundred years ago. Human possibility is measured in the ordinary mind only by past achievements. We are apt to forget that the race is constantly 'progressing and that new ields of visition are ever opening before expanding brains. LUNCHEON TODAY. The wise man paints often, to that there is always a protecting film of paint between his house and the elements. The more durable the paint, the less often this must be done. The most durable paint in the world is Anchor White Lead (Dutch Boy Trade-Mark) and Pure Linseed Oil when mixed to suit the conditions of the wood. All good painters do it this way.
