Miss Hazel Stelffel of Wingate, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stelffel. Milton Bridgett and family have moved to Richmond where the former . has a position in the Pennsylvania yards. Miss Rose Griesenger went to M uncle Saturday to visit her sister, Mrs. George Cary. Her brother, Will Greisinger, joined her in that city Sunday. Mrs. Martha McLear has returned from Dayton after several months ; spent with her daughter, Mrs. L. S. Howell, who has gone to Pennsylvania for residence. Mrs. J. B. Routta entertained a number of friends at dinner Saturday evening at her pleasant home on Church street. MisssJTbelma Rummell of New Castle, spent Saturday and Sunday with her grandparents,- Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Falls. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Willard , Rummell joined her in this city Sunday. The Friday Night club met Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schiedler. Dr. Charles Kniese read a very Interesting paper on the subject, "The Nobel Foundations," giving a character sketch of that personage, and his munificent gift of $8,000,000 to be used as a reward of valiant deeds, not alone in Norway, but in all countries. Mrs.. L. A. Guthrie of Muncie, was the guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Doney. The meeting of the Home Economics section of the Helen Hunt Club, which was announced for Monday afternoon in the Presbyterian church was postponed indefinitely on account of the fact that the speaker, Mrs. A. G. Phillips, of Lafayette, was unable to reach Cambridge City, on account of the condition of railroads.
