The anniversaries of the American Bible Society board of home missions and church extension were observed this evening, the speakers being the Rev. S. H. Kirkbride of Chicago and the Rev. Ward Piatt of Philadelphia. Take Up New Work. The graduating class in the examinations this year agreed to take up the proposed post-graduate work, introduced by the board of examiners for the first time. This board was appointed four years ago by Bishop Anderson and consists of J. K. Cecil, U. S. A. Bridge, J. H. Runkle, L. M. Edwards, W. E. Murray, II. S. Nickerson, R. J. Wade, J. E. Williams, Ray Semans, Charles Smith and Bearl Parker, all men of college experience.

Under the direction of O. E. Fulghum a committee will be organized at a meeting of the Wayne county farmers which will be called together soon. The purpose of the organization will be to advance dairy interests in the county. The name of the new organization, has not, as yet, been decided upon.

The success of Mayor Zimmerman's office as a matrimonial bureau is believed to be fully established. The mayor received a letter this morning from C. H. Holz, Cincinnati, Ohio, thanking him for giving to the Richmond newspapers a letter asking for a mate to accompany him through life, specifying "an honest, browneyed lassie." He did not state In the letter that his desire was granted but Mayor Zimmerman is confident that a Richmond girl received a good home for life. The letter reads: Cincinnati, Ohio, March 27, 1913. Mayor Zimmerman, Richmond, Indiana. Dear Sir: I wish to thank you for the favor you extended to me through the Richmond newspapers.
