Mr. and Mrs. Nimrod Parrott were called to Connersville Tuesday on account of the serious illness of their sister-in-law, Mrs. William Parrott. Mrs. R. J. Lashley went to Indianapolis Monday to visit for a few days. MiBS Inez Eliason of Earlham College visited the school here Tuesday. Mr.' and Mrs. Hubble from Illinois has been visiting' her father, Mr. Benj. Ha worth. Mr, and Mrs. William Hurst have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hurst for several days. Mrs. Stanley Ritter of Indianapolis is spending some time with her mother, Mrs. Stephen Shank. Miss Nellie Ryan has been on the sick list for several days. Mr. Jacob Wolfe has sold his stock of goods to A. Weil who will offer the stock for sale from March 20 until 29th. Mrs. Stephen Shank was called to Peru Monday to attend the funeral of her nephew, Mr. Heagee, who committed suicide by asphyxiation in a hotel in Peru, Ind., Sunday. Her sister Mrs. Samuel Stevens accompanied her. Miss Lillian Dean of Richmond is visiting Mrs. Ella Commons this week. Mr. Lute Lantz, Jr., of Milton, spent Sunday with his aunt and uncle, Miss Amanda and Mr. John Lantz. Mr. Frank Baker, who has been seriously ill for some time is improving. Miss Alice Hoerner of Nashville was called here on account of the illness of her aunt, Mrs. Johnson. Miss Letha Dunbar spent Sunday with Mrs. Earl Stinson in Richmond. OBITUARY . B. --P, Beverlin, son of William and Martha Beverlin, was born near Williamsburg, Wayne County, Indiana, March 30, 1839. Departed from this life March 13, 3913, aged 73 years. It months and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Naomi Lewis, February 26, 18C2. The 26th of last month they had lived together 51 years. To them were born five children, namely: Rowena, Charles, Saida, Clara and Arthur. ; The eldest, Rowena, and the youngest, Arthur, had preceded him to the Better Land several years ago. The widow and three children survive him Charles, Saida and Clara. Also two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Some sweet morn a day will open, Never more to close in night; We shall hail the early token Of its everlasting light.
