Today will be the last opportunity to see Pickard's Trained Seal3 and Sea Lions and if you have not seen them during the past week don't fail to see them, as they arg certainly an extraordinary attraction. Monday an entire new bill will be given at the Murray and one of the most interesting seen there for a long time. "A Girl of the Underworld." "A Girl of the Underworld" which comes to the Gennett Wednesday, March 1, is a play from the pen of Jack Gorman, who has written some of the biggest successes upon the American stage. In this new play he has dealt with a theme which authors have overlooked for years. It Is a beautiful play, and after a short circuit of theatres in this section, "The Girl of the Underworld" will go to New York, for its supreme showing; popular prices will prevail here and the people of Richmond will have an opportunity of seeing one of the best companies now playing before the public. Mr. O. E. Wee, who presents the "A Girl of the Underworld" frankly states that it is the best show he has had the pleasure of presenting for years, and predicts its immediate success upon its metropolitan opening. Stories have been written, plays have been presented, but a better comedy drama has seldom been presented that will equal "A Girl of the Underworld." The Murrette. A high class detective story is the subject for ove of the three reels shown at the Murrette today and is entitled, "The Law of Compensation." The story tells of Marx, a gentlemanly crook. One day he notes two well WOMAN FEELS 10 YEARS YOUNGER Since Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound Restored Her Health. Louisville, Ky. For Rough, Wrinkled, Freckled,' Pimpled Skin
(From the Woman's Home Journal.) As March winds, flying dust and dirt are apt to injure any complexion, this information will be of special value right now. If you have any cutaneous blemish don't use paint, powder or anything else to cover it up. Too often this only emphasizes the defect. Besides, it's much easier to remove the disfigurement with ordinary mercolized wax. Applied nightly, the wax will gradually remove freckles, pimples, blackheads, moth-patches, sallowness, red or yellow blotches, or any surface eruptions . The affected cuticle is absorbed, a little each day, until the clear, soft, youthful and beautiful skin beneath is brought wholly to view. Ask the druggist for an ounce of mercolized wax and use this like you use cold cream. Remove in morning with soap and water. Many who have tried this simple and harmless treatment report astonishing results. If bothered with wrinkles and furrows, a wash lotion made by dissolving an ounce of powdered saxolite in a half-pint witch hazel will prove wonderfully effectual. (Advertisement) dressed men going into a jewelry store. He steals up and watches them closely and marks a necklace of pearls bought by one of them. A detective is watching Marx closely and follows the two m strangers and picks up a jeweled cigarette case. The detective starts to arrest Marx when one of the men turns around and looking at Marx closely turns to the detective and says, "You are mistaken I gave that case to the man." The situations are complicated and make anMnteresting picture. Two comedy reels are also shown. "The Girl Sleuth" and "When He Jumped at Conclusions." The Palace. "The Lure of the Violin" which was presented at the Palace yesterday proved to be one of tl;e season's greatest photo-play offerings and the enormous crowds that witnessed the production both afternoon and evening were not backward with their words of praise. The attendance for the day was perhaps the largest in the history of this theatre. For today the management has arranged for an all comedy bill feeling assured of giving patrons what they desire more than anything else for a week-end offering. The program includes no less than four great comedies from the studio's of the foremost producers. Popular and pretty Mabel Normand and her Keystone players will be seen in two of their newest creations. "A Doctored Affair" and "A Red Hot Romance" are the titles. "Father Finish," Majestic and "Just Hard Luck" an American are included in this unusual Saturday fun program. "Arcade." The place to invest your nickel today is at the. Arcade.' For today will be shown two Vitagraph comedies, "Everybody's Doing It," and ".When Bobby Forgot." Two of the best laugh producers on the market in whicli Florence Twine, the Vitagraph girl and Roger Lytton appear. "The Boomerang" is a strong Kalem drama featuring Carlyle Blackwell, the favorite. The piano harmonists, Roy Parks and Ruby Snavely, are scoring a big hit. They play on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night. The Forty Year Test.
