FAIRV1EW MAY HAVE AH "1 WALK" CLUB If Petitions for Better Car Service Are Not Granted.

Residents of Fairvlew arecirculatlng petitions addressed to the officials of the Terra Haute, Indianapolis and Eastern Traction company, asking for a restoration of the fifteen minute car service In that suburb. A large number of signatures have been secured for the petitions, and they will be forwarded to Indianapolis soon. General Manager C. K. Jeffries, who was in the city this week, was approached on the subject, but would not give a definite answer. Fairvlew residents are satisfied that the Bervlce which was tried for a few months following the revocation of the traction company's franchise last winter, should be continued, and failing to eecure a satisfactory arrangement providing for more frequent service, will take stringent steps to force the car company to take the desired action. The formation of an "1 Walk" club will be one of the steps which the residents plan if the service is not extended to allow them a car to the center of the city every fifteen minutes. Little Girl Cured of an Awful Cold. "Two years ago our little girl had an awful cold that settled on her lungs," Bays Mrs. Wm. Oalbraith, Hamburg, N. Y. "We were greatly worried about her condition. She had a persistent croupy cough that clung to her despite all our treatment, until I got a bottle of Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. This preparation relieved that dreadful cough and choking and effected a positive cure in the course of a few days' time." For sale by all dealers. Amusements At the Murray. "Freckles." Story plays those which have been adapted from some popular novel have been among the most interesting productions the stage has had. Among the most successful producers of book plays in America today, is A. G. Delamater; whose "Quo Vadis" and "Beverly of Graustark" are well remembered by hundred of thousands of theatregoers. Both were most interesting plays and clean ones Delamater will have nothing to do with any other kind of production; above all the play must be clean and respectable, so theatre-goers within the confines of the United States and Canada will be pleased to know that he has arranged to produce Gene Stratton-Porter's- delightful nature play "Freckles," which will be seen at the Gennett Theatre tonight. When it is considered "Freckles" was a leader of all the best sellers there have been over a million readers of the first story of this remarkable woman who has lived all her life in the Llmberlost Swamp country of Indiana, It will be understood that to secure the playing rights was no small problem. It was Delamater" s record Cor clean plays and his reputation in producing in the most complete and exhaustive manner, everything he undertook, that secured for him these rights over many competitors, among fhem the most prominent In America. "Sweetest QIH." M'ss Florence Goer, who will have the "ole of Mrs. Ned Ratoliffe in "The Bv test Girl in Paris." when it is shown In the Gennett Theatre. Miss Gear la a comedienne of the Cabill-Frtganza sohool, and In this part in "The Sweetest Girl In Paris" she Is said to display an ability for .what she calls "heavy acting" seoond to neither of these famous stars Miss Gear has been given a new eong In Act 1, called "That Tantalizing Hed." which, together with the famous, "That's How Imitations Look to Me." sf Act II, furnish her with abundant opportunity to display a natural gift of hwmor for which those who have seen her in her former starring vehicles remember her. $3.50 RECIPE FREE, FOR WEAK MEN

Send Name and Address Today Yeu Can Have it Free and Be Strong and Vigorous. I have In my possession a prescription for nervous debility, lack of vigor, weakened manhood, falling memory and lame back, brought on by excesses, unnatural drains, or the follies of youth, that has cured so many worn ov.t and nervous men right in their own homes without any additional help or medicine that I think every man who wishes to regain his manly power and virility, qulcltry and quietly, should have a copy. So I have determined to send a copy of the prescription free of charge, in a plain, ordinary sealed envelope to any man who will write me for It. This prescription comes from a physician who has made a special study of men and I am convinced It is the surest-acting combination for the cure of deficient manhood and vigor failure ever put together. I think I owe It to my fellow man to send them a copy In confidence so that any man anywhere who is weak and discouraged with repeated failures may stop drugging hinaclf with harmful patent medicines, secure what I believe is the quickest-acting restorative, upbuilding, SPOT-TOUCHING remedy ever devised, and so cure himself at home quietly and quickly. Just drop me a line like this: Dr. A. E. Robinson, 4295 Luck Building, Detroit, Mich., and I will send you a copy of this splendid recipe in a plain ordinary envelope free of charge. A great many doctors would charge 13.00 to J5.00 for merely writing out a prescription like this but I send it entirely .free. (Advertisement) stamp means excellence in the fullest sense of the word. This massive and and realistic production of Balfe's great masterpiece proved one of the really big successes of the past season, its appeal not only extending to the lover of music, but to all who enjoy magnificent stage pictures and novel incidental features. Messrs. Aborn are said to have devoted much care to the selection of the present cast of grand opera soloists and are convinced that they have in this or ganization the best cast and chorus ever brought together in Richmond in any of their previous productions. An entirely new production on the same mammoth lines, with all its realistic interpolations, including the great fair and gypsy camp scenes, the wonderful whirlwind acrobats, trained horses, and the ballet, "The Dance of the Hours," in the famous Marble Halls scene of the last act. and much more will be presented. Murrette. The story of "The Two Sisters," a drama shown at the Murrette today, is far above the average in interest. One of the sisters was energetic and had graduated to become a physician. The other, much younger, than the doctor was pretty, stylish and thoroughly selfish. The doctor haft" a sweetheart, a young lawyer who fell in love with the younger sister and eloped with her. Commencing next Monday the Murrette will change the class of pictures and show nothing but pictures handled by the Universal Film Company. The pictures will be second run. In other words only one other city in the country will see ihem first. Then they are shipped direct to Richmond to be shown here and anyone posted on pictures knows that second run pictures are superior to the first run, as first run films are too stiff to work properly through a machine. The first picture shown Monday is said to be one of the best pictures ever made by any firm entitled "Snow White," made specially for women and children and interprets Grimm's Fairy Tales. The Palace. Starting Monday the popular Palace theater will inaugurate a nev policy by presenting a three reel program in place of the usual two reel o fering that has been in vogue. By special arrangement the management has seemed the well known Mutual film service that has heretofore been shown at the Murrette so that the future home of the world's famous Kay Bee, Keystone, Thanhauser and all other Mutual features will be at tne Palace. For Monday a Broncho two reel oature entitled "Ttie Sharpshooters' will be the headliner. This together with an excellent comedy will mak-a an offering seldom if ever equaled in Richmond. Special music uas been arranged for and the manage meat announces that nothing will be left undone to offer the best in tion pictures at all timea.
