The dance given at the K. of P. temple on Tuesday evening was quite a success. Several from out of town were in attendance. The Phi De Lia club of the M. E. church held a business meeting at the home of Rev. Ryder and wife on Tuesday evening. After the business had been disposed of dainty refreshments were served by the hostess. Mr. Charles Jackson, who was strick en several days ago with paralysis is improving slowly. He is able to sit up at the present time but he is still unable to use his left side. -. CENTERVILLE, IND. CENTERVILLE, Ind., Feb. 13. Mrs. Jennie Gibson, who has been on the sick list for some time has gone to ppend several days with her sister, Mrs.. Cook in Richmond. Mr. Benjamin Myrick and Mrs. Edward King of Richmond spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ahl and family. Messrs. Howard Smelser and Paul Mathews have been putting up ice from the Hill pond. They have housed four hundred tons at the one cutting, with ice from six to eight inches thick, Mr Manford Richardson has resigned as lineman from the telephone company, his resignation to take affect March first. Mr Charles Roberts has been appointed to succeed him. Mr Ray Shiveley, of Richmond was in town Tuesday on business. Mr; Howard Mathews and family are out of quarantine. They have been quarantined for several weeks on account' of scarlet fever in the family. No new cases of the disease have developed in the community. The Eastern Starr Lodge will have the grand matron, Mrs. Robinson of Winchester with them for their work on Friday night, when four candidates will Je taken into the lodge.
