Something Richmond has needed for a long time and has never had. Something that the owners have done their best to make it the nicest of its kind in the State of Indiana. Something which we hope Richmond will be proud of. Listen, Richmond People! For two reasons Richmond is soon to be one of the best known cities in this State: 1st, It is one of the three cities in the State through which the great "Coast to Coast Highway" will pass. 2nd, It fs the last stop which tourists will make before reaching Indianapolis when traveling west over the "great Highway"; and the first stop when traveling east. RICHMOND IS A BEAUTIFUL CITY, especially to tourists passing along Main street. Now what we want and what we have is a place where these tourists can be cared for when they stop, and a place where our home automobiles can be properly looked after. Let Us Tel! You About the Dethard-McKee Garage In the first place it is practically fireproof. It has a Ladies' Waiting Room containing comfortable chairs, table and wash room. It is well lighted, steam heated and very roomy, having 160 feet of space for car storage alone. In the rear in one corner Is a large wash stand. Opposite is a completely equipped repair shop with the best workmen we can find.
The East Front Room Is occupied by the McKee Auto Service which has just added a second taxicab and is now equipped to handle taxi calls at any time of the day or night. They also have a large seven passenger car for hire and do trucking and general transfer work of all kinds. Phone 2814. The West Front Room Is occupied by the Bethard Auto Agency which carries a complete line of the best automobile accessories of all kinds, such as Fisk and Goodyear Tires, Mobile Oils, Gasoline, etc. They also have the agency for what in their opinion is the best line of automobiles on the market for the money the Ford and Oakland Cars, and Service Motor Trucks. Read the advertisements below: ANOTHER BIG ADVANTAGE which the Bethard-McKee Garage possesses is this: From the rear entrance there are roads in three directions, leading south to South- A street, east to 13th, and west to 12th. The garage can be entered from any of the four directions and congestion is overcome. This Building is Now Open for Business We will be at home to all visitors tomorrow and Saturday. Come and make us a call and inspect the new garage.

"THE CAR WITH A CONSCIENCE
Does ft make any difference to you, when you go to market, whether a piece of goods is all wool, or just cotton ? Vanadium Steel is "all wool" steel, it's Ford steel. It has been proved by every steel test to be the toughest steel ever made. It is more than twice as strong as any other steel and that's why it takes only half as much to make a Ford automobile. A Ford will carry a bigger load than most of the big cars you see. Vanadium steel is a light weight steel and that's why Ford cars weigh only half as much as other cars, run twice as far on a gallon of gasoline, wear out only half as many tires, are more powerful and give exactly the same sensation, pleasure, etc., as cars which cost twice as much. Dont be afraid the Ford Car won't last. Look around you. The oldest cars on the roaX today are Fords. Every part of the Ford is guaranteed for life against defectiveness. NOW LISTEN! In our garage we will carry a complete stock of every part of a Ford car piece by piece in order to protect Ford owners from any inconvenience. If you would buy every piece of a Ford car it would cost you just the same as a new car. Isn't that fair? We are Taking Orders Now for Spring Delivery

We did not intend to handle anything but the Ford Car for 1913, but when we saw the new Oakland we just couldn't help it. It is absolutely the classiest and most beautiful automobile we1 have ever seen. Then when we raised the hood and foot boards and saw the wonderful engine and the strong, well built chassis, we realized that the Oakland really is "The Car with a Con- -science." Just read these few points: 6-60 GREYHOUND has 130-inch wheelbase; upholstery 10 inches deep; underslung construction; "V" shaped radiator; all trimmings of german silver, including radiator; unit power plant; cone clutch, electric lights with generator; air starter (like Linton, Premier, Chalmers, etc.), or electric if preferred! Air tank also inflates tires. 7 passenger, 5 passenger, 2 passenger, racer, each $2,100.00. (Equipment extra.) MODEL 42, 4 CYLINDER looks just like the six-cylinder and is built the same exactly except that it is 116-inch wheel base. This car is a wonder. Price $1,600. (Equipment extra.) MODEL 35, 4 CYLINDER Same as Model 42 except that it is 112-mch wheel base, is somewhat lighter car with slightly smaller motor. The greatest medium priced car on the market, fully equipped, $1,250.00 The Oakland Branch Office in Indianapolis carries all parts of the cars in stock at all times. We will have a demonstrating car soon. See it sure.
