(National News Association) INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 23 Executive clemency was granted by Governor Marshall today to twenty-six Indiana men confined in prison. The governor today acted upon the state board of pardons, following its recommendations for eleven paroles and one pardon. In addition fourteen prisoners in the reformatory at Jeffersonville were granted paroles on the recommendation of Superintendent Payton. The man pardoned is John VVedtsker, of Fort Wayne, who was sentenced to the reformatory in November, 1910, for from one to eight years for petit larceny. Medtsker will be sent to school as soon as released, friends having provided money for that purpose. The eleven paroles granted on the recommendation of the state board of pardons were as follows: Fred Wohlgemuth, Howard county, sentenced March 1, 1912, one to fourteen years, state prison, housebreaking. Clarence Love joy, Tippecanoe county, March 3, 1910, two to fourteen years, state prison, robbery. Charles Henderson, Decatur county, June 6, 1910, reformatory, housebreaking.
