DISTRIBUTE FUNDS OVER THE COUNTY Sum of $162,507.91 Is Apportioned Richmond Gets Major Share.

City of Richmond Drew Part of Its Big Share Earlier in the Year.

The state and '..al tuh'ion cannot be distribute" ntil after th last Monday in Jan y, 1913. .he total amount to be distributed is $162,507.91, of whk-h amount the share of the Richmond city corporation and Richmond school corporation is $101,998.66. However, of the total amount, $39,600 has been advanced, $25,000 having been advanced to the city of Richmond, and $10,400 to the Richmond school corjioration. The residue, $4200 has been advanced to various townships. The amount advanced will be subtracted from the total amount which those townships or corporations should have received tomorrow. Richmond city will be given $49,271.97 tomorrow. The total amount due the city was $74,271.97, but an advance of

$25,000 was asked and given some time j in November. j Of this $49,271.97, City Controller! McMahan expects to have $30,000 left J at the end of this year. Other officials state that it will be impossible to have j this amount left after the pay roll, the city's amount of public improvements, and other debts are paid. The school corporation of Richmond was to have received $27,726.69 but owing to the advance of $10,400, it will receive $17,326.69. Sums Apportioned. The total amounts of other distributions follow: Abington township, $908.19; Boston township, $1,579.43; Center township, $2,965.32; Ciay township, $2,616.71; Dalton township, $2,186.15; Franklin township, $2,669.71; Greene township, $2,645.40; Harrison township, $1,653.27; Jackson township, $1,184.47; 'Jefferson township. $3,114.54; New Garden township, $4,353.51; Perry township, $2,089.12; Washington township, $2,617.09; Wayne township, $13,040.05; Webster township, $2,127.23; Boston corporation, $111.61; Cambridge City corporation, $0,918.73; Centerville corporation, $1,768.97; Dublin corporation $1,270.10; East Germantown corporation, $185.57; Fountain City corporation, $571.07; Hagerstown corporation, $2,287.35; Milton corporation, $1,109.50; Mount Auburn corporation, $62.95; Spring Grove corporation, $443.14; Whitewater corporation, $30.07. In the amount distributed to the Cambridge City corporation, Centerville corporation, Dublin corporation, Hagerstown corporation and Milton corporation is included the school fund distribution.

Deputy Sheriff Henry Cole, slayer of eleven men. died of morphine poisoning, self administered, while a prisoner in the county jail, under sentence of ten years in the penitentiary for killing Irving Cobb. Cole was a noted desperado hunter and four white men and seven negro criminals suffered death at his bands.

James Ryan. ho last spring robbed the safe of the National Biscuit company at Detroit of a large sum. walked into the county jail here today and surrendered. "1 could not stand it any longer." he said, "and decided to give mytelf up." Ryan will go back to Detroit without extradition papers.

Recently a negro asked to inspect the county jail. He had a friend confined there, and as he passed along the corrider he stopped in front of the iron bars and glanced inside. The prisoner friend saw him. "Hello there, Charlie," said the man on the inside looking out, in an appealing voice. "Helio good-fur-nothin', whose chickens you been stealin" this time?" This from the man on the outside looking in. "Ah say, Charley, w-wh-what time is it? "Watchu you all want to know what time it is for, you certainly ain' goin no place is you?" Just then the turnkey put in an appearance and the conversation closed.
