Wike returned yesterday from a several weeks' visit at Columbus, Ohio, with her daughter, and other relatives. , Mrs. George Murley was a Cambridge City visitor yesterday. Prof. Charles Frazee is here to visit his uncle, C. J. Morris, and his mother, Mrs. Emma Frazee. His sister. Miss Bertie Frazee, returned homo with him after a pleasant visit with him and his family at Duluth. Frank Shank returned this week from a visit with friends at Louisville, Kentucky, and points in southern Indiana. Mrs. Emma Hoel spent a few days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Copeland, north of town. The Rev. F. C. McCormick is attending Bethany assembly this week. Miss Luella Doddy is home from "Winchester for a few days' vacation and Ylalt with her parents, Mr. and MrB. Thomas Doddy. Mrs. Ell Beeson spent yesterday with relatives at Cambridge City. Several boys were playing and in 'some manner trouble came up and one boy struck Bruce with a bottle on the head inflicting quite a wound. Santford Wissler has been suffering from lumbago for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Leverton entertained as their guests Sunday, at their home east of town, Messrs. and Mesdamea Willis Leverton and Jesse Revelee land families. Wm. Huddleston and Harvey Shank of east of town, spent Sunday with Russell Markle of Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schlagel had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Crowe, of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Crowe also called on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wallace. Coombs of Danville, an evangelist in the Christian church, "will preach next Sunday evening in the Christian church of this city. Rev. Coombs la a man of wide ' experience in evangelistic work. He is a "ready, forceful and pleasing speaker, and is considered one of the strong pulpit orators of thestate. Miss Blanche Boyd will sing at the .service. A cordial invitation is extended to the general public. Mrs. R. A. Hicks spent Wednesday in Rushville. A market was held and aprons and fancy caps were sold in the dining room. Peach ice cream and lady fingers were served on the lawn. Miss Gertrude Routh entertained a company pf fifty guests Tuesday afternoon at her home on Church street, honoring her house guests, Mrs. A. L. Wright of Taft, Fla., and Mrs. Fred Routh of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Geo. Wheeland of Chattanooga, Tenn., the guest of Mrs. B. A. Carpenter.
