Cascarets Cleanse Liver and Bowels
No Biliousness, Headache, Sick, Sour Stomach, Indigestion, Coated Tongue or Constipation. Furred Tongue, Bad Taste, Indigestion, Sallow Skin and Miserable Headaches come from a torpid liver and clogged bowels, which cause your stomach to become filled with undigested food, which sours and ferments like garbage in a swill barrel. That's the first step to untold misery indigestion, foul gases, bad breath, yellow skin, mental fears, everything that is horrible and nauseating. A Cascaret tonight will give you a thorough cleansing inside and straighten you out by morning. They work while you sleep a 10-cent box from your druggist will keep you feeling good for months. Millions of men and women take a Cascaret now and then to keep their stomach, liver and bowels regulated, and never know a miserable moment. Don't forget the children their little insides need a good, gentle cleansing, too.

Odlva gives an interesting and effective performance at the Murray this week, making a display of feminine aquatics that is an object lesson in the art of swimming. To learn to swim should be a part of every child's education. Many are the deaths recorded every year which would not have occurred had the victim been taught this method of self preservation. Swimming is, of course, a pleasure, but whether or not it is enjoyed, it should be a part of the physical equipment of every individual. Odiva is an extraordinarily graceful young woman. Her exhibition is pictorial and poetic rather than spectacular. Her feats under water, especially the endurance test when she-remains for over two minutes, are striking and some of them as sewing and eating are of the "feature" order rather than exhibitions of acquatic performances. In the latter, however, she is charming. With a physique whose lines are
j ideal for exhibitions of this sort, with
not an ounce of superflous flesh and silhouetted against the green of the water by her black outfitting, this feminine swimmer is reminiscent, as the program intimates, of the fabled mermaids of mythology. Her long and abundant hair adding to the illusion. - i This is swimming in its perfection and at its apogee. Her various dives from graduated

Sugar Plums. Of all candies perhaps the sugar plum boasts the most ancient lineage. It was the invention of one Julius Dragatus, a noted Roman baker and confectioner, a member of the family of the Fabli. Dragatus put forth the first specimen of this confection In the year 177 B. C. The bonbons of this variety were called dragati. after their Inventor (dragees is French), and their manufacture constituted a monopoly enjoyed exclusively by the Fabian family. Whenever there was a birth or a marriage In that family a great distribution of dragati took place, as an evidence of rejoicing. This custom is still retained by certain of the old families of Europe. New York Herald.

heights are naturally more spectacular and show her in a varied repertoire of water acrobatics and, by comparison with the amateurs in the latter's contests, an idea of the talents and skill of the famous amphitrite is gained. The whole is a fascinating exhibition and one which everybody should witness. The bill this week is unusual in length for Richmond vaudeville since it includes five acts, the rest being
those of the usual vaudeville variety. .kn amusing skit. "The Taming of Eleanor," is a variation of its famous Shakesperean prototype, "The Taming of the Shrew," and is well presented by Christine Prince and R S. Ewen, the story of a discontented young wife who is tired of a deluge of endearments and her husband's success in bullyragging, after h has discovered what she wants, being diverting. The bill is opened with a clown acrobatic affair in which the ancient and honorable slap-stick is raMMftfttaf. a couple of alleged comedians programmed as "Brown and Foster" doing a stunt later on which elicited much response from the audience. One of these men is good of his class but the other might be lost in the shuffle without any perceptible disturbance on the surface. Edith Astor. a "singing comedienne," is effective satorially and caps off her appearance with a dance in skirts of ballet-proportions, or lack of them. Odiva should not be missed E. G. W.
