CITY SHOWS GAM III ITS CHILDREN

'There Are 5,338 Inhabitants Between the Ages of 6 and 21 Years. A gain of 56 was made in the enumeration of all persons in the city between the ages of six and twenty-one years, according to the reports filed with the county superintendent last evening by the enumerators for the city. The total enumeration is 5,338, of this number 5,059 are white while 279 are colored. There are 2,677 white boys of school age in the city and 131 colored boys, 2, 3S2 whie girls and 148 negresses. The various sections of the city show the following totals: West of river 1,077, a gain over last year of 17; East -of River, south of Main street, 2,226, a gain of 55; East of river and between Main street and railroads, 1,374, a loss of 29; east of river, north of the railroads, 661, a gain of 9-. The following figures show the totals of enumeration in this city for the

The above photograph shows the two daughters of the Russian Czar, Grand Duchess Olga, left, and Grand Duchess Tatian, right, in the uniforms of the respective regiments of which they are colonels. The royal sisters are commanders of two crack bodies of cavalry, and Olga, who is seventeen, appears on ceremonial parades at the head of the Third Elizabethgrad Hussars, while Tatian, fifteen, is the chief of the Fourteenth Lancers.
