j GREENSFORK, IND. i : GREENSFORK, Ind., April 16. The third annual Baccalaureate service were held last night at the M. E. ; church. The address was given by ' Roy. Zerbe of Williamsburg. The house was full to overflowing, there being about three hundred and fifty present. The high school orchestra -furnished the music, directed by Miss Flossy Neff, teacher of music; also a quartet composed of Rev. Brock, Chas. Cummins, Harry Chapman and S. D. Neff. The program was fine and was enjoyed by all present. The graduat- : ing exerciBes will be held on next , Wednesday evening at the same place. The address will be given by Prof. ; Harmon. The graduates are Clyde McMullen, William Fry, Marie Hoover and Susan Ellis. The funeral of George Hoover took place yesterday. Services were conducted by Elder Pannet, of Converse. The funeral of Mrs. Mona Snyder, of Indianapolis, will take place tomorrow at 2 p. m. Services to be held at the Christian church. Mrs. Snyder was for many years a resident of this place and vicinity. Mrs. Mattie Jones, of Richmond, was the guest of her sister, Mrs. Dr. Neff over Sunday. John Albertson, of Richmond, attended the funeral of Mr. Hoover. Our schools will close on next Friday. Mrs. Laura Roher, of New Castle, is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Chas. Smith. Mrs. Rice Miller, of Richmond, spent a few days last week with her mother, Mrs. Ellen Fox. Earl Doggett, of Dover, was in town Monday on a business trip. Thomas Tarkleson has purchased a lot in the East End and will erect a residence in the near future. Mrs. Alice Wise went to Richmond Monday. Frank Roller, of Indianapolis, was in town last Saturday morning for a few hours.

Mrs. Mary Young and Miss Minnie Jones, spent the latter part of the week with relatives at Cincinnati. Mrs. Celia Roach and baby returned to their home at Xenia after a week's visit with her parents. Mrs. Amos Black, of Richmond, spent the patter part of week with her sister, Ada on Sunday. She was joined by her husband. Mr. Joe and Wash McKee and their sister, Flora, took Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wilson. Miss Carrie Whitacre entertained at Sunday dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Whitaker, Rev.
