O00M FOHMIIJ IS LAUliCHED NOW Virginia Delegates Will Support the Minority Leader in the Senate.,
(National News Association) WASHINGTON, Jan. 31. Democratic politicians divided their atten
tion today between the Wilson-Watter-son-Harvey controversy and a brand new presidential boom. The boom was that of Senator Thomaa S. Martin, or Virginia. It was launched by Rep. Garln of that state who says that Virginia would, send instructed delegates to the national Democratic convention to support Martin. The senator is the minority leader in the upper house, and is regarded as the most capable chief in the senate since Gorman's time, having pushed through many Democratic measures, although the senate has a Republican majority. If Republicans nominate a conservative candidate for the presidency, New Mexico will go Democratic, according tp H. B Ferguson, Democratic leader of that state who is in the city. All the Democrats need to do to carry that state is to nominate a progressive.
