Connell. of Milton, has purchased the Cambridge City Coal yard of H. F. Bogue. Mr .and Mrs. Bngue have gone to Muncie to visit relatives, and a little later with Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Gibson, former residents of this city, will move to a farm near Seymour. This (Wednesday) evening will be the opening meeting of a aeries to be held in the Methodist church. Mrs. C. T. Sherwood, a singer of Linton, will assist with the music. The Daughters of Pocahontas will Install the following officers Thursday evening: Prophetess, Mrs. Mollie Jones; Pocahontas, Retta Kelsey; Keeper of Records, Hettle Sowers; Winona, Mrs. Jesse Mustln; Collector, Mrs, Sarah Stombaugh; Keeper of Wampum, Mrs. Catherine Storch; Powhatan, Lee Munger. Miss Mildred Bpence, of Indlanapo lis, was the guest of Miss Helen Doney, Monday evening, and attended the dance. Rev. John Doddridge, who has been the guest of his sister, Mrs. John Judklns, has returned to his home in Jeffersonville. Rev. Doddridge was here in attendance at the funeral of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Mordecal Doddridge, of Doddridge Chapel. Mrs. Otis Harris and son, have returned to Marlon after a visit. with the former's parents, Rev. and Mrs. J. E. Coffin. The New Year's dance given Monday night, by the K. of P. entertainment committee, was one of the pleasant social affairs of the holiday nson There was a large attendance, not only of Cambridge City people, but a number of out of town people wer in attendance. The Welsbrod Saxaphone Quartette of Richmond furnished the music. The Friday Night Club will mo"t Thursday evening with Miss Grnce Mills. B. F. Wlssler will presem the duty of the evening, "Civic Righteousness." This meeting Is also the annual election of officers. A full cttendance of the membership is desired.
