the Proposed Traction Line.

The feasibility of the rcc-ont devised plan to Have the eontitrwtion of some forty or fifty rnileH of truck, will be
the principal consideration when representative of the Khhmond and Kastern Indiana traction company with an engineering expert travel over the southern end of the proposed route of the new north and south interurban road. This was the decision reached Wednesday evening when the directors of the new institution held a special session in the Commercial Club rooms. I'nder the plan now proposed, the It. & K. I. line will extend south only as far as Liberty instead of to Harrison. ()., aH originally planned. Although the officers of the company refused to go on record as to their Btand In the matter they discussed the proposition at some, length, and seem to favor connecting their road with the Indianapolis and Cincinnati road at Liberty, rather than running a line of their own to Harrison. The engineer will spend the entire fore part of next, week examining the route and will try to solve the problem for the company. Several bids for the construction of the road have been turned over to the executives by engineering firms all over the middle west. These propositions were discussed fully, but the directors determined not to take any action on the bids until they hear the report on shortening the road. The directors hope to rush things now, and announce that, the surveying will bo started within a few weeks.
TO SECURESPEAKERS For Sunday School Teachers' Institute.
At the meeting of the city Sunday school association last Tuesday evening in the First Lutheran church, a plan to hold a Sunday school teachers' institute here during December was formulated. A program committee was named to arrange for the institute, and the members of this body have been asked to have several noted Sunday school workers from other parts of the country here to lecture before the institute. Kdgar M. iiaas was elected president of the organization following the announcement that Judge Roggs had resigned owing to his protracted illness. A committee composed of K. M. Haas and Revs. Lyons and Kenworthy, was instructed to draw up a letter of sympathy to Judge Hoggs. The state convention of Sunday schools, which will occur in this citynext spring, was the subject of much discussion at the meeting. It was announced that approximately one thousand visitors will attend the convention and consequently the problem of providing accommodations for these will be a serious matter. The sessions will probably be in the Kast Main Street Friends' church, as this is the largest religious edifice in town.

INTERROGATORIES FOR COMPLAINANT
Demand is made by attorneys V. W. Keller and W. A. Bond, who are representing Mrs. Minnie Karns, defendant in a divorce action institutied by Otis K. Karns, former transfer clerk at the Pennsylvania depot, that her husband's complaint be made more specific. A list of interrogatories have been filed in which the complainant is asked to specify when, where and with what women the defendant accused him of being unduly intimate. Karn's ground for divorce is cruel and inhuman treatment, he alleging his wife accused him falsely of violation of the maritial vows. He is also asked to name the lewd women with whom, as he alleges, his wife accused him of being intimate. In his complaint, in which it is stated that they were married on March 28,

"And that is what I got in my new Macey Book Cabinet. In it I possess a piece of furniture for my home that radiates the style, the good taste, and the genius of an Old Master ; and my enjoyment is all the greater because it actually cost less than I would have paid for an ordinary Bookcase. "To have in my home and before my children constantly the influence of a mind like Thomas Sheraton. Robert Adam, Fra Junipero or Chippendale, who were among the world's greatest Masters in Furniture, and to realize that such goldea gifts of good taste and harmony were to be mine without costing something extra, was indeed a new and pleasing ex perience for me. The new Macey Book Cabinet do not look sectional, but they are. They have been designed and wrought out as the Old Masters would have built them. They are made in such a variety of styles, grades and sizes, and all at such popular prices, that every taste may be satisfied, every expectation realized. The bold but graceful Colonial patterns; the delicate and chaste Sheraton: the graceful and pleasing Chippendale; the quaint Arts and Crafts or more rugged Mission made of mahogany or oak in all the popular finishes, afford such a variety to select from that your choice will not prove a disappointment to you afterwards. Every new Macey Book Cabinet has the perfect nonbinding doors which add so much to their value and are fitted with moveable and interchangeable feet an exclusive feature of Macey Book Cabinets without which the correct styles of the Old Furniture Masters could not be carried out in sectional bookcases. When you see the Macey Book Cabinets, your eyes will convince you that their exquisite style costs you nothing extra and that these sectional cabinets can be extended, rearranged or moved without spoiling their good looks. Price only $17.50, exactly like cut in Old English
