The invitations were rather unique and stated to the guests that the party would be given at "The House of A Thousand Candles." Each guest had to find his or her way to the place without further direction. Of course it was easily found by the brilliant decoration of windows with candles and Chinese lanterns. The house was bright with illuminations. A nice program was rendered. Harry Manlove gave several fine readings. The luncheon was also served in a novel manner. T. P. A. Notes BY W. H. Q. The final arrangements for the annual T. P. A. picnic have been completed and all that now remains to make the outing a grand success is fair weather. From every source comes information that the largest attendance of local T. P. As will be gathered in Glen Miller park next Saturday afternoon to participate in the picnic. M. E. Shreeve chairman of the committee on arangements together with his corps of assistants have been working untiringly during the past two weeks and have arranged a program of different events that will prove highly interesting to every body. Likewise they have secured valuable prises to be given to the winners of the different events. The committee have also arranged to have the use of the entire pavilion in the event of ram.'. No. one need to hesitate to be in attendance as ample room will be provided for all in event it should be necessary to use the pavilion. The program of events will begin promptly at 2 o'clock, thos giving the committee plenty of time to finish the entire program before upper which will be served at 5 o'clock.
