Miss Carrie DuGranrut entertained at six o'clock dinner, Monday evening. Her guests were the Misses Jessie Lantz, Miriam Perkins, Eunice McClung and Blanche Moore. Morton Warren was at Richmond yesterday on a business trip, for the Bertsch foundry company. Mr. and Mrs. John Thurman and daughter, returned to Richmond, yesterday after a pleasant visit with Mrs. Thurman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Doty. The funeral of the late George Pence who dropped dead at his home in Indianapolis was conducted from the family residence, this afternoon. Burial at Crown Hill cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. James Coons, Mrs. Anna Hoshour, from this place, attended. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Vorhees of Cincinnati, were also expected to be in attendance. Mr. Pence had been troubled with his hart and a short time before his death he was sitting on the veranda with his wife when he suddenly arose and said he believed he would go to the doctor's.
