Miss Bertie Frazee was a Cambridge City visitor yesterday. Some one found his way to the school observatory and placed a flag of black and white on the school flag staff. It bore the skull and crossbones. On Monday night some one representing the Sophmores also found a way to erect the sophomore flag on the staff. It was floating yesterday. Mrs. Grant Clark of Cambridge City, visited' her mother, Mrs. Needham Sunday and on Monday . Mrs. James Clark and Grant Clark of Cambridge City, called on Mrs. Needham. Wesley Newton with Chas. Davis and others attended the Odd Fellows' lodge at Richmond Friday night The second egree was conferred on Mr. Newton. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Winters, of In dianapolis, called on Mrs. Hattie Hurst, Monday. They returned to In dianapolis Monday. The Alumni meeting at the Odd Fellows' hall Monday night was at tended by a large company including the members and their guests. There were seven candidates for admission: Miss Lula Faucett, Miss Jessie Lantz, Miss Agnes Ward, Miss Sarah Williams, Russell Wilson, Earl Murley and Jesse Huddleston. These were all received, but as Earl Murley was obliged to leave before the meeting, only six were initiated. And these six were treated to ghosts; skeletons, blindfolded and made to take some very unpleasant medicine. Aside from this which created much merriment, Harry Manlove gave a reading from Ben-Hur and Miss Eunice McClung also gave a reading. Miss Nellie Jones, Mrs. Clarence Langs ton and Miss Maude Hussey ' rendered instrumental solos. A nice luncheon was served. : , Mrs. John Kellam is much indisposed from a deep cold. The Priscilla club with Mrs. O. H. Beeson Monday afternoon, was attended by a large company of thirtyKne ladies. The hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Beeson, Mrs. Elwood Beeson, Mrs. James Baker, Mrs. Malinda Barton and Mrs. L. A. Bragg. A nice luncheon was served. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Crounoner the first Monday in June. The hostesses will be Mrs. Crounoner,. Mrs. Oran Bragg, Mrs. Hiram Crook, Mrs. James Doddridge and Mrs. Charles Davis.
