Superintendent Perry S. Potts, for several years in charge of the West Elkton schools, has been chosen high school principal by the Jackson township board of education. C. R. Contents, after a service of about. eleven years, has been reelected superintendent of the schools. The change made by Prof. Potts leaves both the north and south precincts of Gratis township without a superintendent, as Professor Charles H. Moses, of Gratis, has resigned to become the deputy of Treasurer-elect. James Sharkey, who assumes his office next September. An exceedingly pleasant party was given Friday evening by Superintendent and Mrs. John O'Leary at their home on North Cherry street Their guests were the teachers of the Eaton schools, the members of the board of education and their wives. Superintendent and Mrs. J. P. Sharkey, of Van Wert, were out-of-town honor guests. The program of the evening included a number of toasts and an entertaining talk by Superintendent Sharkey on "The Schools of Tomorrow."" Bishop Floyd attended the general meeting of the Missionary Board of the U. B. church at Junction City, Ohio, the past week. Four other bishops Bishop Barclay, of Oregon ; Bishop Hausklns, of Idaho; Bishop Alwood, of Ohio, were in attendance. Rev. Stults. of Ontario.
