BALLINGER TO SUE GiFFDRD Pill C HOT Half Million Dollars to Be Demanded in Suit to Be Filed Soon.
(American News Hervlce) Washington, March 10. Half a million dollars damages will be demanded In a suit to be filed in Washington agalnut G If ford PInchot, former chief forester, by Hlchard A. Uallinger, who retires this week from the cabinet position of Secretary of the interior. Mr. IJalllnRer will return to big home on the Pacific coast inside of two weeks, where he will recuperate from hi lndlHoHition and then bring to bear bla batteries againttt his former accuser. It waa evident from remarks made by the retiring secretary, supplemental to hln resignation statement to the effect that he would prosecute the arch conspirators who had beeu "following him with the assassin's knife," that from private life he fully Intends to seek such vindication as he believed the courts can render him. It la understood that Secretary Hallinger Intends to make good his threats of suing not only Mr. Pine-hot. but the weekly magazine in New York which Interested itnelf ho deeply in the endeavor, as Mr. Uallinger charges, to bring about a wreck of his administration. Mr. Pinchot and his assertions seem to be uppermost In Hallinger's mind at the present time and it is evidently his intention to deal with him first and let the suit HKainst the New York weekly follow in due course.

Does Not Strain the Eyes Don't use a small, concentrated light over one shoulder. It puts an unequal strain on your eyes. Use a diffused, soft, mellow light that cannot flicker, that equalizes the work of the eyes, such as the Rayo Lamp gives, and avoid eye strain. The Rayo is designed to give the best light, and it does. It has a strong, durable shade-holder that is held firm and true. A new burner gives added strength. Made of solid brass and finished in nickel. Easy to keep polished. The Rayo is low priced, but no other lamp gives a better light at any price.
