And HYOMEl is so pleasant to use; you'll like to use it; when you breathe it the effect ou the inflamed catarrh Infected and germ ridden membrane Is soothing and healing. In Ave minutes you get such wonderful rtlief that you will know that at last you have a cure for catarrh. A HYOMEl outfit which consists of one bottle of HYOMEl, a hard rubber pocket inhaler, a medicine dropper and simple instructions for use, costs only $1.00 and extra boules of HYOMEl, if afterward needed, 5o cents. That method saves serving at the table later, but If the salad is on the plates better keep them in the pantry until you are ready. To avoid confusion do not serve many courses when you are both cook and hostess. Four courses, and preferably three are enough. If you have no maid that fact presupposes simplicity of living, and more than four courses at a meal make it elaborate, ami as you do not wish to appear ostentatious the meal must be eomparitively plain. For four courses, or three all the small silver may be put on the tabie when the latter is laid for the meal. Finger bowls are expected and can be served without trouble. MUST LEARN TO DANCE. The following from the Indianapolis News is of interest to many here: ' 1 11 have to learn the barn dance, if I am going out in society," said a man last week in anticipation of the kindergarten charity ball given Monday evening. "You are all out of date," was the response. "They are not dancing the barn dance this year," and he found his informant was right. The barn dance was not on the program for the charity ball, but there was a new style of dance that made the man that wanted to learn the barn dance feel that he was Indeed all out of date. While the sedate and elderlies were carefully waltzing or two-stepping in measured movement and in the direction of the right at the edge of the hall, the members of the younger set were going at a skipping rate through the center of the hall and in all the open spaces. They made great long slides and the hands were spread out as far as they could reach. Tall men with short girls leaned over to reach them, and the tall girls with short men did the same. The plain, goslow folk opened their eyes, and some tried to venture on the new step and some sat down in despair to find themselves not up to the tricks of the latest dancers. "I thought I knew the waltz and two step in every phase," said one man. "but 1 11 have to begin over and go to dancing school if this thing keeps up." "You'll not find that taught in dancing school," came the answer. "Don't you know the effervescence of youth is not in your old bones?" "Well, I guess wou are right. I am having a good enough time as it is, for I have not had a lack of good partners tonight. I'll go to Miss R this minute to dance my way." And he did. Talking about that same ball a person attending said she heard considerable about hard times, but she had come to the conclusion it was not hard times or high prices, but the women's extravagance in dressing and keeping of automobiles that had made money seem scarce. The gowns at the ball were gorgeous, both in color, elaborateness and material. The finest of lace robes, the most expensive of silk and satins though It must be said there is not a great quantity in any of them embroidered in gold or glittering with squins and jewels were worn. A guest owes a duty to a charity ball or to a hostess to make the entertainment attractive with clothes, and the color and glitter of the gowns made this ball distinctive, one of the most brilliant the kindergarten has ever given.

Deep Seated Cough CURED IN 5 HOURS New Home-Made Syrup. From Boston Press. Progress in medical compounds never ceases, and now it is stated by a prominent medical man that any deepseated cough or cold on the lungs can be actually cured in five hours by the clock. Opium and morphine have been resorted to in the past, as relief measures. But now it is learned that the system must be treated to rid it of inflammation and congestion. A tonic laxative cough syrup does the work so quickly and thoroughly as to be almost magical. What heretofore has taken weeks to cure can be accomplished in hours. Get this formula filled or mix it at Home and always keep it on hand: One-half ounce fluid wild cherry bark, one ounce compound essence cardiol and three ounces syrup white pine compound. Shake the bottle and take twenty drops every half hour for four hours. Then take one-half to one teaspoonful three or four times a day until the system is purified and toned up. Give your children less according to age. One filling will usually cure a whole family, as the dose is small.
