The entertainment given by tho young people, of the Christian church, at the Odd Fellows' hall, Monday evenlnf was well patronized and waa pleas lng to the audience, The play waa "Just Plain Folks" and covered a pretty story in which an old country doctor figured conspicuously and who came to grief because of his kindness to an orphan girl who had taken to the circus. The girl eventually became an heiress and was of high social standing. Aside from tho play, Harry Hoshour rendered "The Holy ' City" on the cornet. Miss Mary Jones and Miss Nellie Jones each gave a piano solo. A pantomime waa Introduced on the stage by a class In Miss Nora Murphy's room of the Milton schools that was very amusing.
