Mr. Mitchell is very popular among his fellow T. P. A s as a performer on the piano and is in great demand at all times. One of the amusing features of the program was the cake walk which proved a pleasing guessing contest. Kleven T. P. As were costumed to represent a cake, and the paraded through tho rooms giving an opportunity of guessing the cake the represented. I E. Turner as a hermit was one cf the best parts taken as were also Chris Bailey as the chocolate eake, and J. R Hegger as the scripture cake. Mr. Hegger never appeared to better advantage than on this occasion when, dressed as a clergyman, with Pible in hand and with unusual dignity he marched throughout the crowd reading the scriptures in a manner unknown before to him. The remainder of the parts were well taken. On entering the rooms in the evening each lady deposited in a basket a necktie similar in color to the lrets she wore. These ties were distributed among the men and were h means whereby each man selected
