He was followed by Oscar Lawler, tbe author of the Lawler memorandum, who charged that former Secretary Garfleld. Glfford Pinchot and Mr. Urandeis had corrupted KIrby Into making hid charges. The taking of testimony ended on May 20 and the arguments of both attorneys were heard on the 27th and 2Rth. Bricfa were submitted on June 13 and the committee then retired to consider the case.
