Mr. Jennie Booth, a prominent resident of Milton, who died on November 16, left her estate to her relatives and friends according to the provisions of the will which was probated la the office of the county clerk. Remembrances, consisting of such Items of personal property as Jewelry, money, linen and the like, she provided should be given to her moro Intimate friends Including residents of Milton and Cambridge City. Her property in Milton was Inherited by her niece, Mrs. Ida Cause, as a token of her appreciation for her niece's care nd attention. The residue of the property was inherited by six heirs, each sharing equally In the distribution. Oliver Iteeson has been appointed executor and filed bond in the sum of $2,000.

Dailey, secretary to Secretary MacVeagh of the treasury department, was today appointed assist, ant secretary of that department, succeeding Charles I). 1 lilies. The appointment is effective March 1. Fred W. Lehmann, a St. Louis attorney was today offered the office of solicitor general of the department of Justice,' to succeed Lloyd W. Dowers.

Postmaster, K. M. Haas, has completed the re-districting of the city into mall routes, and last night at a meeting of the carriers there was a smoker and ' assignment of the new routes. Two 'routes have been added, having been formed from routes already In existence. Doth of these are in the east end of town, one north and the other1 ' south' of Main street The two new carriers allowed the local liostofflce after three months' hard work by E..M. Haas: The mall service of the city will be greatly improved by the addition" of the new routes.
