The doctors ordered bim into the dispensary and the dog refused to leave him. Bruin w-as put out six times and finally resigned himself to stay outside. The irst day Donohus was up he went to the windowr and there on the walk outside he saw Bruin gazing up at him.. The dog almost went crazy with joy and despite his fifteen years he leaped up and down as in his puppy days. Since that time the good old dog has patrolled regularly beneath his master's window. Donohue is in the consumptive ward. The dog never will make friends with any -one, although the physicians touched by his faithfulness, have taken - to feeding him.
