The principal thoughts pt his sermon were that God Is not a far away God but an ever present help to man in his journey of life, and that He will wipe away all the tears from the eyes of his people by destroying the fountain, which is vested in evil of all kind. The Rev. John Coffin ot the M. E. church of Cambridge City filled the pulpit in the evening. He took for his theme "Awake, Oh, Jerusalem, Awake." He illustrated by .man's Inventions, man's Intellect was awake, but that was not all; his spiritual nature must also be awakened. A special number in music was the duet "Abide With Me. by Mrs. Will Daniels and Miss Nettie Bennett which received many compliments. Mrs. Joe Cause entertained as her guest Sunday, Mrs. Jennie Booth. The son, Emerson Gause, was also home from New Castlef Mrs. Weaver who was with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Weaver, returned to New Castle yesterday. Mr. Weaver accompanied his mother. She is suffering from rheumatism. Thanksgiving will be observed here Thursday the 24th with appropriate religious services. The Rev.
