So Industriously did she apply herself that she won not pnly honorable mention each month, but was advanced as a teacher in a night school at the college and had classes' in the primary and advanced departments. In the model room she gained quite an experience in speed and business tactics and graduated from the college Friday. October 21 with high honors. Miss Paxson has engaged as a teacher In the college when she received an offer of a position as typewriter in the Doddridge Grave Lining company office here, and desiring to be at home she accepted the place. It is expected that the company here will put in a mail order department " . The Rev. and Mrs. C. H. Pinnhck called on Mrs. MctJashland in the bounds of Doddridge Chapel department Thursday. Mrs. McCashland is an old lady of seventy-seven years, who lives entirely alone. They were pleased to call on her. Mrs. J. A. Brown returned from Richmond yesterday.
