Supplemental tariffc filed by the transcontinental freight bureau, increasing rates on westbound shipments of lumber and lumber products, which were scheduled to become effective today, were suspended by the Interstate Commerce Commission until March 15. England. Oct. 26. Avia tor Morrison accomplished a flight from Issy, France, over the English channel and reached Aldershot a distance of two hundred twenty-five miles today. TO DISCUSS TRACKS The Board of Works will go to Indianapolis tomorrow to confer with the Tere Haute, Indianapolis and Eastern Traction company. The object of the conference will be to force the freight car tracks of the company out of Glen Miller - park. The company has been asking extension of time in Which to take the tracks out for some time btu the board has become tired of wailing.

Seventy men are dead and Haytian gunboat "Liberte" lies at the bottom -of the Atlantic ocean off Port Depalx. as a result of an explosion on board yesterday. Of ninety " persona on board only twenty were rescued. The dead were either killed in the explosion or drowned. A storm was raging as the overcrowded boat was deserted sinking the gunboat which was badly torn by an explosion. Among the dead were ten Haytian generals.
SPOKE AT WEBSTER Webster, Ind., Oct 26. Judgo Thomas Davidson ot Greensburg, addressed the voters on the republican issues at the town hall last evening. He had a large meeting and proved to be one ot the most pleasing speakers who has ever visited , this place.': The meeting was presided over by C. E. Wiley, chairman of the republican county central committee. There were a number from Richmond present, including John E.
