There were several witnesses, young men, who testified to having been in the pool room and to have seen other young men there, none of whom is of age, and it was also testified that on one occasion a bucket of beer was brought into the pool room and its contents participated In by several, at least one -of whom is a minor. . In defense ..Ml Her showed that he had served personal notice on many of the minors to stay out of the pool room and .had also posted two notices, one above the entrance to the room and the other oa the back wall, notifying them to stay out. It was shown that some of them had compiled with the order and had kept strictly to the cigar store portion. Miller claimed it was next to Impossible for htm to keep the boys out and the court held that under the circumstances . they were really trespassers and threaten ed to fine them on that charge If there Is any more complaint. Owing to the fact that Miller had made some effort to keep minors out of his place of business and also because It was evident the case against him had partly been brought, at least, because of some trouble he had had with one of the boys, the mayor dismissed the case.-; - neKaay 4fI4ffe.
