Eaton, O., Oct. 13. On affidavit sworn to by his wife, Chester Steph ens was arraigned In Mayor Miller's court Tuesday afternoon to answer to a charge of assault. He waived exam inatlon and was bound over to the grand jury in the sum of $100 which he furnished. Stephens and his wife have been living apart some time. In the common pleas court Harry King pleaded not guilty to the charge of rape and his case was set for hear ing October 25. AN ORDINANCE. Providing for the licensing of itiner
ant, traveling and transient photo graphers making post-cards and other photographic pictures, and also persons canvassing for enlargements made in crayon. India ink, water col ors, pastel or oil from small pictures within the City of Richmond, Indiana, and fixing penalties for the violation thereof. Section 1. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Rich mond, Indiana, that before any transient, itinerant or traveling photographer or other person is authorized to solicit for the making of any kind of post-cards or other photographs or to solicit for the enlargement ot pictures, either with or without frames within the limits ot the city of Rich, mond. Indiana, such transient, itinerant or traveling person or persons shall make application to the control ler of said city for a license, granting such privilege; such application shall specify the number of days such ap plicant intends to make and solicit for such photographs and enlargements and frames within the city of Richmond. Indiana, for which he shall pay the following prices, to-wit: For five 5) days. Five ($5.00) dollars, and for each additional day. One ($1.00) dollar; no license to be Issued for less than five days. Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fin ed in any sum not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars or more than Twenty five ($25.00) Dollars and each daya violation thereof shall be considered a separate offense.
